About Punch Therapy
Punch Therapy Heals Human Connection One Punch at a Time.
We specialize in supporting neurodivergent individuals, including those with autism or Tourette’s, as well as youth, women, and anyone seeking tools to manage ADHD, stress, anxiety or depression. We provide a safe, controlled environment where emotions can be naturally expressed through movement, fostering growth, relief, and connection.
Be Seen and Heard
A Safe, Inclusive Space for Expression
Punch Therapy began as a women’s only empowerment gym – giving women a safe place to express strong emotions and release stress. It’s now expanded beyond challenging gender stereotypes to supporting anyone fighting their mental health battles.
We offer a powerful, controlled outlet for releasing aggression, reducing stress, and improving cognitive function. Our mission is to build a stronger, healthier community by integrating movement, mindfulness, and meaningful human connection—because everyone deserves a safe space to let it out and grow.
Meet Our Team
Sarah has been practicing Muay Thai for over 21 years and started Punch Therapy in 2023. As a mom herself, she wanted to give woman a safe space to express rage, build confidence and find a supportive community. Because of Muay Thai’s benefits, she saw the need to expand more people along their mental health journey including helping them improve focus, reduce tics, and alleviate depression.
Sarah has her bachelors in Exercise Science and Masters in Sports Marketing, and is currently pursuing her graduate degree in Psychology. A passionate mental health advocate, Sarah empowering people and helping them challenge mental health stigmas one punch at a time.
Hey! I’m Lani — I’ve been training Muay Thai for over 4 years and joined the Punch team in May 2023. I’m currently living in Costa Rica, but I stay connected by supporting Punch Therapy remotely and creating social media content that shares the energy and heart of what we do.
Along with Muay Thai, I also train in kickboxing, boxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and weightlifting. I’ve been into fitness for over a decade, and martial arts is a huge part of my life — it keeps me grounded, growing, and inspired.
Grateful to be part of the Punch fam and always excited to keep learning, training, and creating.
Hi, my name is Ben. I’m originally from south Florida but I relocated to the San Diego area in 2019. I’ve been training Muay Thai for almost 2 years under Joshua Fishman at 360 combat and recovery. The thing I enjoy most about this sport is the Muay Thai community. Everyone I’ve met along the way has been supportive of my growth. I am looking forward to one day obtaining my Kru. Additionally, I am excited to work with Punch Therapy to help share the enjoyment of this sport with my community.
